Ron and Val Berrus - Missionary Care

Present ministry:

Lead pastor at Bible Baptist, Shiremanstown, PA, as of April 1, 2010.  Ron served as Director of the division of Missionary Care at ABWE from 2004-2010, which included Mobilization, Prefield, Postfield, Singles, MK Education, Next Generation, Debriefing, Counseling and Crisis Care.  Ron travels extensively speaking at regional missionary gatherings worldwide.  He was also the primary trainer for new appointees in Evangelism and Disciple Making.  Ron and Wayne Haston have developed the Good Soil* Training Seminar and the booklets, The Story of Hope and The Way to Joy. He frequently speaks on the subjects of evangelism and disciple making at pastors conferences, colleges, and Bible institutes in the US and Canada.

Passions:

Targeted personal evangelism, intensive discipleship, mentoring, preaching the Word, assisting local churches to think globally and work locally to fulfill the Great Commission and assisting global laborers to keep focused and faithful to God, family and ministry.  Ron trains ABWE missionaries and creates training materials for evangelism and disciple making.

Ron also has an extensive ministry to men at retreats and conferences and an evangelistic outreach to hunting enthusiasts called "Through the Lens of Nature" (see Sportsmen's Outreach link for more info)
